Tomorrow is our annual Candlelit PJ Parade @ Peck Elementary! We might even have a special guest! We will also be practicing a shelter in place drill in the afternoon since we have all read I’M NOT SCARED. I’M PREPARED in class. Let’s have a fabulous last day before break!
Jr/Sr High Students: don't forget tomorrow is FUN FRIDAY! Bring a bowl and fill it with popcorn for $2. You can bring a pop or sports drink too to wash down all the popcorn! Also, wear your PJ's.
Please be advised that the Jr/Sr High will be practicing a lock down DRILL tomorrow during first hour. All students have watched a refresher ALICE drill training video. We will put what we've learned into action by conducting a lock down drill where the students practice barricading the classroom doors. After the drill teachers and students will discuss any questions or concerns they have.
Athletics: join us Friday night to celebrate the retirement of Kyle Abrego’s jersey. The Pirates host rival Kingston at 6 pm. There will be a ceremony at halftime and a reception following the game.
Attention. 4th-6th grade boys basketball: no practice Thursday. Practice is Friday 6-8 pm in the cafeteria.

Did you know? Peck High School is part of the Legion Hockey Co-Op with Sanilac County schools. Last night our two students Caleb Lentner and Lauren Eager helped lead Legion to an exciting 5-4 OT win over Lapeer High School at the fairgrounds. Caleb had 3 assists and Lauren had 20 saves in the win. Good job, Pirates!
You are cordially invited to the Winter Band Concert tomorrow in the gym at 7pm. The students have been working hard this year and have invested a lot of time in learning their instruments. They're eager to show what they have accomplished. First band concert in almost two years!
Any 4th or 5th grade boys interested in playing basketball, there are practices Tuesday 12/14 and Thursday 12/16 5-7pm. Even if you’re new and haven’t practiced yet, you’re welcome to attend!
Don't forget, Jr/Sr High students tomorrow is Ugly Sweater day, Wednesday is Dress Like An Elf Day, Thursday is Mad for Plaid Day and Friday is Pajama Day!
