The class of 2028 (8th grade) is selling Butter Braids! Butter braids are jelly or cream-filled braided pastries. They are excellent for the holidays! Each pastry is $15. This fundraiser ends November 10. Delivery will be on November 28th with pickup time of 3:05 - 5:00. You can order through any 8th-grade student or using the online store: https://tinyurl.com/bdsstt29 Please note, that there is no shipping when ordering through the online store, customers will be able to pick up their orders on Delivery Day at the specified times. Thank you to the families, students, and the community for contributing to our HUGELY SUCCESSFUL food drive. We are so proud of all our pirates and their kindness. Proceeds of the food drive will be used in the Weekend Backpack program to ensure no student is left hungry over the weekends. On behalf of the NHS and the Kindness Club, we would like to recognize the winners of the classroom pizza party, on the Elementary side, Miss Hoefert's 4th grade, and on the High School side the 10th grade class.

Donkey Basketball!!! 🫏 🏀 World's craziest family sport, come one, come all!!! Come watch our 11th and 12th graders play against staff and first responders! This event will be on Sunday, November 12th at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Gym. 🎟 Advance ticket sales for $7.00 or buy at the door for $10 and children under 5 get in free 🎟

Halloween is tomorrow! Here is a reminder of the letter sent home at the beginning of the month. Costumes K-5 should be worn to school and should not contain a mask or a face covering. Children need to be able to sit in their seats, use the restroom, and go outside to play in them with no restrictions. Thanks so much for your partnership!
